Investment Control Of Large-scale Construction Projects Based On Schedule

With growing of China's comprehensive national strength, international cooperative engineering expands unceasingly, GDP of construction accounted for an increasing proportion in the national economy. Among them, the large-scale construction projects in the social fixed assets are increasing. In the future for a long period of time, China will have more large-scale construction projects have been started. Therefore, investment control of large-scale construction projects is the demand of our country's economy development, also is demand of construction project management work gradually toward a scientific, standardized.This paper with the perspective of the owners of construction projects, from the investment control theories and methods to start, study how to control investment of large-scale projects based on the project schedule. Thesis mainly research on the choice of project financing and the implementation of project management software, Combined with the new Kunming airport project has proved the investment control based on the schedule, making the Investment control method more scientific and useful.Papers include the following:(1) Analysis reality background of investment control of large-scale construction projects, summarized the status of domestic and international research, proposed research purpose, significance and methods.(2) Systematically expounded the theory and methods of investment control of large-scale construction projects, and discussed technology of investment control based on the progress planning in detail.(3) Combining with the new Kunming airport construction project, from investment control methods, the choice of financing, Earned Value Management, BIM, P3E/C application etc, to explore the application of control based schedule measures and methods.The main conclusions of this paper include the following:(1) Large-scale construction projects should enhance the application of the theory of control; project investment decisions will be more scientific. Owners should start from the active control, standing in the height of the life cycle, not only pay attention to the design and cost management of construction, but also stressed that the cost of operation and maintenance of management, pursue the overall investment efficiency.(2) Investment control in the construction project based on the schedule planning, so as to realize the optimization of investing time, reduce financing costs.(3) Application analysis of earned value management shows the actual progress and the use of the funds of large-scale projects, but overall operation judgment has certain drawbacks.(4) Advanced project management software should be used in investment control based schedule of Large-scale construction projects. Such as P3E/ C software, making the progress of the project planning, setting the project's resources and funding to get the resources and the allocation of funds in the schedule, guide the supply of funds and resources for Owners.
