Study On Coordinated Development Of Regional Economy In The Economic Zone Of The West Coast Of Taiwan Straits

With the development of economic integration, regions become more depend on and associate with each other. Coordination development of regional economy has become the key to healthy and orderly development. Based on the study of regional economic development theory, this article redefined the meaning of regional economic coordinated development and constructs the indicator system from three levels which is economic integration, economic convergence and economic differences. Anglicizing by a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods, this article educes the conclusion that regional economy in the Economic Zone of the West Coast of Taiwan Straits remains under-coordination. Then it analyses the macro-environment and basic condition to promote coordinated economic development. Lastly, this text presents the idea which coordinates the regional economic development of the Economic Zone of the West Coast of Taiwan Straits, and focus on the harmonious development of the Economic Zone of the West Coast of Taiwan Straits, the Delta of the Pearl River, the Delta of the Yangtze River and inland area. In the other way, it coordinates coastal area and inland area, urban and rural, provinces and cities economic coordination. On this basis, the text put forward detail measures,which mainly discuss from strengthen the government macroscopic regulation and control, enhance the economic strength of centre area, and speed the integration of infrastructure construction, promote the free flow of factors, strengthen personnel training and the introduction, enhance independent innovation capability.
