China has experienced high economic growth for ten years since it entered WTO as 143rd member states in 2001. China surpassed Japan to become the world's second largest economic entity in 2010.The foreign trade of China has rapidly developed with the economic growth of China. The Sino-U.S. trade relationship plays an extremely important part in China's foreign trade. The Sino-U.S. trade fields constantly expand. The trade products have developed from traditional goods to high-tech goods. Furthermore, the Sino-U.S. trade value increases also and the U.S. has become the largest trade surplus country for China. The imbalance of the Sino-U.S. trade leads to an increasing sharp trade conflicts. The Sino-U.S. trade relationship became more sensitive with the outbreak of the global financial crisis in 2008, when the U.S. presented a weak economic recovery and the export of China suffered a serious impact. With the background of the financial crisis, frequent trade conflicts between the U.S. and China would not only restrict the normal development of the Sino-U.S. trade relationship, but also influence the recovery of world's economy. The Sino-U.S. trade conflicts have a positive influence on China, such as the improvement on enterprises'economic benefits and the promotion of internationalization of RMB. However, we could not ignore the negative influence on the stable development of China's economy. China would face the severe problems, such as the decrease of employment and other countries'imitation. Therefore the rational and objective analysis on the reasons of the Sino-U.S. trade conflicts could effectively settle the trade conflicts. And this is very important for China to allay the Sino-U.S. trade conflicts and promote the foreign trade. The thesis analyzes the issues of the Sino-U.S. trade conflicts during China entered WTO for almost ten years, with special focus on the Sino-U.S. trade conflicts after the outbreak of the global financial crisis in 2008. First of all the thesis explains the severity of the Sino-U.S. trade conflicts, and then details the reasons for the Sino-U.S. trade conflicts, trying to find the source of trade conflicts with respect to China, the U.S. and the whole world. Then the thesis analyzes objectively and deeply the influences of the trade conflicts. Considering the current situation of China is similar to that of Japan in 1970's and 1980's, in the end, the thesis makes suggestions on dealing with the Sino-U.S. trade conflicts with respect to politics, policy, strategy and technology.
