As the world information and the development of national economy, modern agriculture official was put on the agenda. As a large agricultural nation, our country has been gradually developed to the modern agriculture from a traditional agriculture mode. From the "eleventh five-year plan" to" the "twelve five-year plan", our country's requirement to the development of agricultural modernization is more specific. As the call for industrialization of agriculture, agricultural informatization is growing higher. As a traditional agricultural Hunan province, in the process of building of agricultural information has made certain achievements, but the overall sense, Hunan agricultural information there are still many problems, especially the low level of agricultural information and agricultural information service system is imperfect. How to use Hunan's economy, location, nature and technology,speed up the process of agricultural information teelmology, construction, modern agriculture, This is not only an urgent task of agrieultural development in our province is also building a moderately prosperous society and aceelerating soeialist moderzation imperative.Based on the construction of Hunan agricultural informatization,Firstly,it has introduced the domestic and foreign research dynamic about Agricultural informatization, expounded on its definition,characteristics,concrete forms and the necessities. Secondly, analysed and summarized the history, current situation and successful experience and enlightenment of domestic and foreign agricultural informatization construction. Combining Hunan's social economy and the actual situation of agricultural development, this paper have introduced the progress of Hunan agriculture informatization, and used SWOT analysis to make a detailed analysis on the superiority, weekness, opportunities and the menace in the process of agriculture informatization, at the same time, discussed its strategic combination. Finally, according to the existing problems, combining the successful experience, the extraction at home and abroad and the actual situation of Hunan, this paper will put forward six Suggestions such as government should play a leading role, to strengthen the agricultural information infrastructure, improving the agricultural informatization service system and so on. This will have some use value and guiding significance in how to better and faster comprehensively promote hunan agricultural informatization construction.
