The Research Of Tourism Resources Evaluation And Its Development For Fengshan Geopark

In recent years, the tourism industry has been developing rapidly in China, which induced the large demand for tourism resources all over the country today. How to set up the balance between tourism resource protection and economic benefits becomes an urgent and key problem in tourism regions. By using questionnaire method and On-the-spot investigation, the type characteristics and developing status of tourism resources in Fengshan Geopark were described. The economic value was assessed by using travel cost method (TCM) and contingent value method (CVM) in this paper. The main conclusions are as follows:(1)Fengshan geological park tourist resources can be divided into 8 principal category,19 subgroups and 43 basic types. The subgroups account for 61.29% of national standard, and the basic types account for 27.74%. Fengshan Geopark has natural and humanistic landscape concurrently, and most mainly was natural landscape. Its land scenery was plentifully, almost covers all the karst landform types. The Resource monomer's combination was strange, and tourism function was diversity.(2)The tourists came mainly from outside the Guangxi province. The proportion of male tourists was almost as the same as the female ones. Most tourists were young and middle ages, and with high education experience. The ones who have relatively stable career accounted for most, and their monthly income is 2001-4000yuan (RMB). The tourists travel primarily base on sightseeing and vacation. Among of the tourist,79.79% come to Fengshan Geopark for the first time, and 71.63%choose train and bus as their Travel tools.(3)In 2010, the use value of tourist resources in Fengshan Geopark is￥998992.2 thousand, including travel cost￥585709.9 thousand and total consumer surplus￥413282.3 thousand.(4) In 2010, the non-use value of tourist resources in Fengshan Geopark is￥17559054.6 thousand, it is 17.58 times than the use value. There is a significant correlation between Tourists gender, occupation, education, income with tourists'Willingness to pay and their WTP value.Based on these, this paper summarized the research of tourism resources evaluation for Fengshan Geopark, and puts forward some feasible Suggestions of development and management for Fengshan Geopark.
