Study On Sustainable Development Of Zhangzhou Littoral Volcanoes National Geopark In Fujian

Establishing geopark is a better way to protect and utilize geological relics,promote the sustainable development of regional economy effectively. Geological parkin China has developed rapidly since the UNESCO proposed "the world geopark plan"in1999. But at the same time, there are also many factors that unfavorable to thesustainable development of geopark, so it’s quite important to explore the sustainableutilization mode of geopark. Taking Zhangzhou Littoral Volcanoes National Geopark inFujian as research object, this article analyze related problems, made an empiricalresearch on the Zhangzhou Littoral Volcanoes National Geopark by combining theorywith practice, qualitative and quantitative analysis methods, analyze the problems in itsdevelopment and utilization. At the same the article took domestic and foreignsuccessful experience as mirror, basing on theories of sustainable development,management, geography, and tourism science, explored the measures and strategies formanagement system, development and protection, community participation insustainable use for Zhangzhou Littoral Volcanoes National Geopark. So as to supplyvaluable suggestions for sustainable utilization of Zhangzhou Littoral VolcanoesNational Geopark.This article includes five parts altogether．Part one: Exordium.Mainly introduced the background, purpose and significance,research ideas and methods of the paper, meanwhile combined and classified relevantoverview of the geological park.Part two: Summary of the Geopark.This part collected and analyzed the relatedconcepts of the Geoparkand reviewed the developmental course of it. Divide the type ofgeological park. At the same time summarized the purpose and significance of theestablishment of geological park.Part three: This part was empirical research of the Zhangzhou Littoral VolcanoesNational Geopark. Researching and analysing its overview, status of development andconservation, operating management firstly, and then made qualitative and quantitativeevaluation of the Zhangzhou Littoral Volcanoes National Geopark.Part four: Analyzed the problems in the sustainable use of Zhangzhou Littoral Volcanoes National Geopark. According to the theories of sustainable development,measures and strategies of sustainable use for Zhangzhou Littoral Volcanoes NationalGeopark was proposed.Part five: concluding remarks.Expounded the conclusions and deficiencies of thisarticle.
