Research On The Development Models Of Popular Science Tourism In Geopark Based On Tourism Motivation

Geopark has the advantages of developing popular science tourism because of its typical integrity,abundant scientific connotation,vivid image and easy to understand by the public,large number of tourists and complete types of tourists,and the government's emphasis on popular science activities.Different people have different tourism motivation,and tourism demand is the prerequisite for generating tourism motivation.To grasp the relevant concepts and theories of tourism motivation and tourism demand,and to analyze the tourism motivation and demand of specific groups of people will help to clarify potential tourists' choice of tourism destination.This paper investigates the motivation of popular science tourism in geoparks,and analyses the motivation of the public to choose geoparks for tourism.Taking Shizhu Qiyao mountain Geopark in Chongqing as an example,this paper analyzed the geological relic resources,other natural landscape and human resources of Qiyao mountain National Geopark,which was selected as the eighth batch of National Geopark Qualification List,and provided positive suggestions for the construction of popular science tourism in Qiyao mountain National Geopark.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction.This paper mainly analyses the background and significance of the topic,and on the basis of reading the relevant literature,the research progress of popular science tourism and tourism motivation in geological parks at home and abroad is analyzed.Determine the content,method and technical route of this study.The second part is the basic concepts and related theories.This paper defines the meanings of Geopark,popular science tourism,research tourism and tourism motivation,and then elaborates the support theory of popular science tourism in Geopark.The third part is the analysis of the development status of geoparks and popular science tourism in China.Firstly,the basic construction of China's geoparks,thecharacteristics of popular science tourism in geoparks and the development of popular science tourism in geoparks are analyzed.Secondly,a survey of popular science tourism market in geological parks based on tourism motivation is made.Finally,the problems of popular science tourism are analyzed.The fourth part is about the development of popular science tourism in Qiyao mountain National Geopark.Taking Qiyao mountain National Geopark as the research sample area,this paper carries out the construction of specific development mode of popular science tourism activities.The fifth part is the conclusion and deficiency.The main conclusions show that most of the people's tourism activities in geological parks are still mainly sightseeing and leisure vacation,but the score of knowledge-seeking motivation is relatively high.According to the motivation of different groups,the development of popular science tourism activities in Qiyao mountain National Geological Park needs to skillfully integrate popular science into tourism activities,so that the popular science tourism activities in geological parks can be sustained.In addition,according to the relevant information,the popular science tourism activities of Qiyao mountain National Geopark should be aimed at local primary and secondary school students,universities or scientific research institutes,and ordinary tourists to carry out different popular science tourism activities,and design relevant geo-tourism products.
