Tourism commodity is not only the key part for image recognition system of tourism Purpose, but also an important carrier for the development of the local economic. Nowadays, the development of tourism commodity in Changsha is not optimistic. The prevalence of some serious impact on the development of tourism commodity makes the tourism revenue of shopping in Changsha for only 13% of total revenue. That is the'short-leg'in Changsha tourism development.This text states the research status on tourism commodity and its development in domestic and oversea by reviewing the relevant literature. Through the questionnaires survey about the shopping behavior and needs for tourist in Changsha and the interview on the main tourism commodity producers in Changsha, it analyzes the development status of Changsha tourism commodity more comprehensively, as well as the favorable and unfavorable conditions for development of tourism commodity. Based on these, it proposes a series of development strategies of Changsha tourism commodity, and provides some reference value ideas, trying to accelerate the development of Changsha tourism commodity.This article includes five chapters.Chapter 1:Introduction. It introduces the research background, review, purpose, significance and methods.Chapter 2:Development conditions of Changsha tourism commodity. It analyzes the favorable and unfavorable conditions of the development of Changsha tourism commodity from the conditions for Changsha tourism development, the tendency of Hunan tourism, and so on.Chapter 3:The current situation of the development of Changsha tourism commodity. It analyzes the development status of Changsha tourism commodity from the support of government, the investment proportion, development structure, characteristics, quality and brand, distribution network, human resource, and other aspects.Chapter 4:The improving approach of Changsha tourism commodity developing level. It considers how to enhance the level of Changsha tourism commodity, based on four aspects as the actual survey result, the support from government policy, the establishment of commodity development professional organizations, the improvement of marketing system, and the training for human resource. And it considers how to expand sales amount from marketing chain, thus contributing the development speed of Changsha tourism commodity.Chapter 5:Conclusion. It summarizes this article, and points out the limitation of the research and the prospects.
