Therefore, how to establish a scientific,reasonable evalustion index system of the sustainable development of rural tourism, and evaluate the present situation of the sustainable development of rural tourism in China from a quantitative perspect, identify the shortcomings and problems of the sustainable development of rural tourism in China, and then take pertinence measures to improved it, has an important strategic significance in promoting the sustainable development of rural tourism.In this paper, Firstly, based on literature study,experts interview and questionnaires, combined with the theory of sustainable development and the present situation of the sustainable development of rural tourism in China, use the SPSS13.0 software optimized the initially evaluation index system of sustainable development of rural tourism, and establish a evaluation index system of the sustainable development of rural tourism; Secondly, use the Analytic Hierarchy Process to determine the weights of evaluation index; Thirdly, based on the experts interview, combine with state,industry and local standards to determine the evaluation standards of the sustainable development of rural tourism; Finally, use this evaluation index system of rual tourism to evaluate the current status of the sustainable development of rural tourism in Shenyang, draw a conclusion that Shenyang rural tourism is in the preliminary sustainable development stage, and then put forward the countermeasures of the sustainable development of rural tourism in Shenyang.Through the study of this paper, not only build a set of evaluation index system of the sustainable development of rural tourism, but also expand the evaluation theory of rural tourism sustainable development, providing more supports and reference for Rural Tourism Aadministration to establish a scientific and reasonable rural tourism sustainable development countermeasures.
