China's security industry as industrial development developed rapidly since 1980s andgradually grew up along with China's fast social economic development, with the rapiddevelopment of China's security industry, China's SP industry has become a new sunriseindustry which includes development, production, sales, engineering, system integrationand alarm operating, and the products'application area was expending dramatically. Now,China has become the major security product production country and the fast growth of SPindustry also greatly contributes to China's fast economic development.According to the status of our security products and the lack of research on securityproducts' innovation, this paper investigates the construction of the index system and itsimplication on the evaluation model. The purpose of the paper is to identify the factorswhich affect the innovation of science and technology to the security products and attemptsto construct the evaluation system for the products' innovation in hope to provide thereference to the improvement of products' innovation abilities in the future. There are 5 sections in this paper which is organized as follows: Section 1 describesthe background and the importance of this research. It also summarizes the researchliterature at home and abroad, the research methodology and the research content. Section2 defines the core concept of the security products'technology innovation, its connotationand characteristics. Section 3 introduces the construction of evaluation system for thesecurity products' technology innovation. Section 4 combines the survey with theevaluation model to conduct empirical research;Section 5 is the conclusion.
