Construction of Dong ting Lake Ecological Economic Zone is the effective pattern of realizing the economic and social coordinated development, is the Great Cause that can benefit for this generation about several thousands years. Construction of Dong ting Lake Ecological Economic Zone has important strategic sense of safeguarding national food and ecological security, improving the overall layout of regional economy in Hunan Province, and advancing the Lake's "4change" of fusion development.In the final analysis, Dongting Lake Ecological Economic Zone is the regional economic development mode of Dongting Lake and the choice of road. On the basis of understanding the construction of ecological zone theory and combination of the real situation of development, This study do the research on the overall train of thought, key development, and countermeasure proposal from six aspects of the construction of Ecological Economic Zone in Dongting Lake,First, A scientific definition of Dongting Lake ecological economic area and analysis of construction of Dongting Lake Ecological Economic Zone of great significance from strategic height.Second, By the study of domestic and Foreign Ecological Economic Zone and do the research on the frontiers of practice and case study, this paper summarizes the construction experience of ecological economic zone of Dongting Lake.Third, On the basis of making a comprehensive survey of social, economic and ecological environment around the Dongting Lake,This paper analyzing the advantages and disadvantages, opportunities and challenges of the construction of Dongting Lake Ecological Economic Zone after applying SWOT model.Four, this paper initially proposed the overall train of thought of construction of Ecological Economic Zone from the From the guiding ideology, basic principle, overall objective, function orientation and other aspects.Five, this paper put forward the focus point about the construction of Ecological Economic Zone, mainly include:do the functional zoning of construction of Ecological Economic Zone, infrastructure construction, ecological environment protection and construction of ecological industry and its cluster, construction, construction of ecological civilization and social aspects and so on. Six, promoting regional cooperation mechanism from macroscopical view and putting the key areas of reform as the breach from microcosmic view. This paper proposed the concrete policy suggestion of construction of Dongting Lake Ecological Economic Zone.This paper puts forward the development orientation, strategic thinking, strategic emphasis and measures systematically to build the construction of Ecological Economic Zone around Dongting Lake, then enrich and perfect the theory of ecological economic zone, it is a major breakthrough in the field of ecological economy theory. By establishing ecological industry, ecological industry demonstration zone cluster method, this paper construct the industry structure and industry mode with distinct regional characteristics of the Dongting Lake area of ecological economy which indicates that the research findings have certain innovation in the contents and methods.
