Industrial technology progress is one of the important economic growth thrust, in the modern market economy environment, the relation of industry chain and industry technology progress is that industrial chain structure depends on the characteristics of industrial chain structure of the internal market and affect the industrial R & D activities, so the industry chain organization and structure is the important influence factor of industrial technological progress, In this paper, based on the Harvard " SCP-R" analysis paradigm, using microeconomics theory analysis and empirical analysis, it discusses how three different industry chain organization and structure can influence the industry technology progress.First, in the second chapter of this paper, based on the domestic and foreign scholars study, it analysis the driving force and influence factors of the technology progress of industry chain, and discussed the market incentives of technology progress, Then analyzes how the different industry organization, industry association and the technology spillovers of industry technology progress, Then in the third chapter, from the industry market structure point of view, it put forward three kinds of organization and structure of industry chain: continuous competition, unilateral monopoly and bilateral monopoly, applying microcosmic economics model to analysis three industrial chain organization structure of enterprise technical progress the size of the motivation, Finally in the fourth chapter chooses 34 manufacturing 2006-2009 annual data, using data envelopment analysis (DEA) method to computer the TFP and technology progress, compare three kinds of industrial chain structure of industry technology progress,Through theoretical and empirical analysis, it shows that monopoly industry organization is better than the competition industry organization in the technological progress. In the three kinds of organization and structure of industry chain, continuous competition industrial chain have the lowest e market incentive but the highest level of technology spillovers. In the Unilateral monopoly industry chain, the unilateral monopoly manufacturers have strong technical progress motivation, competition manufacturers have the weakest motivation, The whole industry chain technology conduction is slow. In the bilateral monopoly industry, technical progress gains decided by the game between the two sides, but the two manufacturers still has very strong technical progress motive. Through the empirical analysis, we can further verify the theoretic conclusion.
