The world's largest tourism boom, set off waves of immigration international travel. Thailand, because of its unique tourism resources, has become the world's international tourist destination popular among people from all over the world. In China, neighbor of Thailand, there is an annual increase in tourists visiting Thailand in group or organized by travel agents. According to relevant tourism statistics, most of the foreign money made through Thailand's tourism is from Chinese people. China has become Thailand's most important inbound country of tourists.Despite the rapid development, there do exist some defects, among which the phenomenon that Chinese tourists are forced to do shopping is what impresses them most. There is an invisible contractual relationship between travel agents, tour guides, store owners and tourists when travel agents are organizing tourists groups. Travel agents hope to make a fortune by organizing tourists groups. Tour guides wish for a handsome commission by leading the tourists to stores for some purchases. Store owners, travel agents and tour guides have reached an agreement so as to attract more tourists to come for purchases. Thus, store owners can obtain high profit. The complicated contractual relationship has led to interest-oriented, low-quality service with its single service purpose. Therefore, the phenomenon of forced to shopping is seen everywhere, which distresses Chinese tourists very much. With my experience of living, working and traveling in Bangkok, I propose suggestions on what government, travel agents, tour guides and store owners should do to resolve the problem. I wish they would work together to improve the service standard of Bangkok and Thailand and to improve the phenomenon of forced to shopping. And at the same time, I seek to help Chinese visitors purchase voluntarily instead of being shopping and fully protect their legal rights.
