The rapid development of China aerospace industry had provided important guarantee for enhancing the overall national strength and safeguarding the national security. The space power sources had been listed as one of the three core components, as a style of new technology development, its development style played an important role in aerospace industry. With the continuous increasing of the developing tasks of the space power sources, the problem of resource conflicts and too long developing cycle was highlighted day by day, the traditional schedule planning methods has not been adapted to the multi-projects management in the factory.In this paper, the deficiency of the traditional project schedule technology was analyzed based on descriptions of the traditional project schedule planning methods, the critical chain method was used in the plan scheduling and control of the multi-projects, and the validity and stability of the multi-projects schedule management was improved. The multi-projects schedule management scheme for the space power sources based on critical chain technology was put forward and the critical factors for implementing the scheme was analyzed. The management system for multi-projects resource coordination was analyzed, and the effective resources constraint plan was set up based on the establishment of evaluation system of priority level index for multi-projects and the evaluation of the priority level with factor score method. During the risk management of multi-projects, based on the three point estimation method of PERT, the buffer capacity was estimated by taking account of the position weight (α) and the coefficient of elasticity (β), the contribution value to the project buffer and feeding buffer by every task was calculated according to the level of uncertainty of the activity, and the reasonable buffer value was obtained. In the subsequent schedule controlling process, the schedule tracing and controlling mechanism based on task sequence penetration and buffer penetration was established. Then the development of thermal battery multi-projects was taken as example to expatiate the concrete application of the method. The Microsoft Project 2003 software was used to make the schedule plan respectively based on the traditional network planning methods and critical chain technology, and the two kind of plan were compared. The tracing and controlling mechanism based on PB and FB was described, thereby the final goals were achieved smoothly.
