| The process of transformer production comprises components production and general assembling. The assembling workshop assembles all kinds of components purchased from outsources and produced by themselves into final transform products. Under traditional manufacture management system, each workshop and purchasing department provide a variety of components for assembling workshop respectively according to the requirement of product manufacturing plan. Therefore, the transformer production has been limited by different materials supplies, such as the stored raw materials, purchased components and self-made spare parts. If the main assembling workshop is regarded as the core of transformer manufacturing industry, all materials supply departments, including the material distribution centers and all component manufacturing workshops, shall supply materials according to the requirements of the general assembling workshop on the types and amounts and time schedules to supply materials to make sure the transformer production is completed as per production plan. From investigation on status of Yunnan Tianwei Transformer Co. Ltd, this article analyzes the major factors restricting the development of transform production of the corporation in mode of traditional management. In order to resolve these restraining factors, institutional organization is recombined and business process is rebuilt; and radio frequency identification technology is used to control production plan, warehouse management and production logistics management. The objective of this article is to eliminate workshop stock, reduce processing time and decrease stockpiling to reach a production balance. Material distribution center and each component manufacturing unit are operated harmoniously according to material demands of assembling workshop, and supply different materials according to the requirements of general assembling of transform regarding types, norms, time and amounts to enable transformer assembling timely. On these grounds, the production capacity and economic efficiency of enterprise are improved finally. |
