Recent years,Petrochemical industry has been strongly developed in our country,a great many of refining engineering construction projects are appearing in the large investment construction of our country, Along with the construction of those large petrochemical projects and continued expansion of the original devices, petrochemical industry constructions'scale and level have already been larger and higher in the domestic.Such as CNPC Dushanzi petrochemical branch10million tons per year refining apartment and1.2million tons per year ethylene apartment.However,due to itselves big investment,high risk,long construction cycle,high quality requirements,complexed technology and involve quite a mount of different subjects,means that petrochemical industry's construction is a complicated engineering system.So to speak,how to drawn out the advanced management ideas and project management pattern from the large petrochemical project in our country and set up a set of practical and effective management model for ourselves.means grateful to the constructions of the petrochemical industry in our country.This paper studies the management model of the large petrochemical projects in the domestic,and the main ideas as follows:Analizing the characters and present situations of the petrochemical industry constructions in our country,as well as large petrochemical project managemant features.Studying those three management modes what are being widely used in many of the petroichemical projiects;EPC contract mode,construction supervision mode and IPMT+EPC+construction supervision mode, inaddition, mention out those modes' advantages and disadvantages,and why to choose them;Deeply analizing and comparing those three modes such as EPC contract mode,construction supervision mode and IPMT EPC+construction supervision mode.According to CNPC Dushanzi petrochemical branch10million tons per year refining apartment and1.2million tons per year ethylene apartment, and studying the management mode of it. Suggesting that large domestic petrochemical engineering construction projects promoting "IPMT+EPC contract+project supervision" management mode, which not only improving the whole management level of the projects, but also saving the investments of the projects, at the same time, the owners'knowledges and experiences on project management are also been maked up. Advocating that the EPC contractors independent management and the supervisions of the construction site management, supervision unit, as a representative of the owners, and the engineering construction supervision, inspections and management for the rights and obligations of the IPMT in professional team supervise and urge, formed multiple management in the process of construction, reduce the loopholes of the management.
