Research And Application On EPC Total Contract Mode In SDNB 60kt/a PBT Petrochemical Project

With the close connection between domestic and international markets,the construction and management of projects tend to be standardized,specialized and standardized.The construction management mode of petrochemical project has gradually changed from the traditional way of owner establishing the project command center to the new management mode of EPC project general contracting.There are many advantages in the management mode of general contract of EPC project.For example,the construction investment cost is small,the project construction cycle is short,the technical quality is high,and the investment risk coefficient of the owner is low.Now,got a lot of project construction owner’s approval and favor.With the help of government departments,EPC has been used in many petrochemical projects in China.The model of package,through continuous practice and development,this contracting way tends to mature and perfect gradually.However,in this process,a series of deficiencies have been highlighted,such as the imperfect legal system of general contracting of projects,the lack of the number of engineering enterprises with the ability to compete in the international market,the lack of high-quality managerial personnel,and so on.How to apply EPC general contracting mode to Sinopec project construction and make it stable and sustainable development has become the substantive problem that enterprises need to face.The thesis begins with the general contracting mode of EPC,and expounds the background,significance and present situation of this thesis.Then this paper expounds the meaning and characteristics of project management,the basic mode and characteristics of project general contracting,the advantages and disadvantages of the comparison between the general contracting mode and the traditional mode,and the differences between Chinese and foreign EPC general contracting mode.This paper takes PBT project as the breakthrough point,makes a detailed analysis of the EPC general contracting mode and its problems,and formulates some effective countermeasures.Then the paper expounds the present situation of the management mode used in petrochemical engineering,starting from the project,surveying,designing and mining.This paper introduces the application of EPC general contracting mode in 60kt/a PBT project of SDNB Company and analyzes its defects.Finally,according to the accumulated leading experience and development results of the application of EPC general contracting mode in petrochemical projects,this paper puts forward some suggestions for the project management of EPC project general contracting mode based on the actual situation of 60kt/a PBT project of SDNB company.Through the research on the project management of EPC general contracting mode,this paper provides a theoretical basis and practical experience for improving the international competitiveness of China’s petrochemical general contracting enterprises.
