With the intensification of the process of economic globalization, the development process of economy oriented on oil and oil products is driven by the adjustment of industrial structure in the world. It also contributed to the continuous adjustment of China's energy structure, and in the consequence of that, an economic chain of energy consumption and production is formed which is led by oil and oil product. On the situation, that china's oil industry is mainly supported by import supply brings along the development of port economy. Port, as a bridge connecting trading in the world, plays a supporting role to the global economic chain and its strategic status is increasing strengthened.DL Port oil terminal company, which is one of the most important oil discharging and loading terminals companies in China, bears the inessential task on oil transshipment in the northeast and the Bohai Rim. In the situation on rapid developing oil and oil products industry, how to strengthen the DL Port oil terminal company's construction adapting to the needs of modern oil products oil terminal company, and enhance the competitiveness in the industry to expand oil transshipment is a research topic of great significance.The paper is based on the corporate strategic management theory to analyze the company's market situation. And it makes an analysis using gray prediction method to predict the business development in "12th five-year period" period based on "11th five-year plan" data, which contains throughput data prediction of DL port oil terminal company's. It also makes a SWOT analysis to the advantages and disadvantages as well as the opportunities and threats of the company, so that a development strategic direction with the measures is formed. The thesis mainly takes DL port oil terminal company as a example to make a comparative study involving the other equivalents in the industry, by which a series strategic approach is developed. It aims to give a reference view on the competitiveness of oil products enterprises with some experience to the development of port companies.
