Research On Develop Strategy Of Jinzhou Port Logistics

With the constant development of China’s economy, foreign trade demands gradually increase a lot, the surge in freight transportation has put forward higher requirements, the port as a node between means of transportations and shipping, plays a decisive role in improving logistics efficiency, saving the cost of transportation, improving the logistics services. In recent years, Jinzhou Port as a hub in Liaoning province, has been fully aware of the importance of the development of port logistics, and actively involved in the construction of port logistics, this paper is an in-depth analysis about Jinzhou Port current situation of port logistics development, on the basis of fully investigation, a large number of actual data, and summarizes the current situation.Specifically, this paper first introduces the port logistics theory research and exploration, sums up the port logistics function and development trend, provides the beneficial reference to the Jinzhou Port, then uses SWOT analysis to explain the pros and cons in development of port logistics. And then the paper compares Jinzhou Port with Dalian Port and Yingkou Port. And it uses the gray prediction model forecasting the Jinzhou Port throughput to confirm that Jinzhou Port logistics development has a great potential in the future. At last, on the Liaoning Province " five points and one line" strategy background, the thesis provides practical strategies and recommendations about how to achieve the strategic positioning of Jinzhou Port in Liaoning Province port-group planning, how to better and faster develop the port logistics, how we can come to the fore in the competitors surrounded.Contrast to other good harbors, Jinzhou Port really exists some gaps in the port logistics competitiveness, but Jinzhou harbor already had certain advantages and resource base. Jinzhou Port should clarify its strategic positioning,increase the port logistics infrastructure investment,speed up the integration of port resources, and actively develop new good sources, gradually improve the port transport network, and enhance the radiation range of hinterland, build the Harbor Industrial Zone, also it should continue to improve the main cargo logistics chain. While Jinzhou Port should take into account that the cooperation with the neighbor ports to get win-win. In short, Jinzhou Port should turn to provide a full range of logistics services to the customers, attract more goods and drive the economic growth of western Liaoning Province.
