Henan Province, The Construction Of Ecological Agriculture Comprehensive Benefits Evaluation

Agriculture is the basic industry of China, and its development is directly related to the food security, national economic development and the social stabilization. Nowadays, the agriculture of the whole world has developed rapidly, and the agriculture in China has already entered into the critical phase, which means opportunities and challenges exist side by side. As one of the biggest agricultural provinces in China, Henan province has made significant progress in recent years, which showed steady increase in agriculture production and optimized structure of agricultural product. However, there are still some problems existing as follows:big number of population, little farm resource for every person on an average, fragile environment of agri-ecology, large resource consumption and so on. How to solve these problems and promote sustainable development of agriculture is a urgent problem for Henan province. Ecological agriculture, which shows strong advantages and broad developing prospects compared with traditional agriculture, is an inevitable choice for Henan province.Through the methods that combining theoretical analysis and demonstration analysis, qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, this paper firstly gives an overview of the ecological agriculture, covering its definition, features and big significance; Secondly, the paper establishes the evaluation system of ecological agriculture, including the objective and principles of system establishment, the methods of choosing indexes, the way of determining their weights and so on; Thirdly, followed by a brief regional introduction as well as a summary of ecological agriculture achievements of Henan province, this paper carries a detailed demonstration analysis on comprehensive benefits of ecological agriculture construction of Henan province from2000to2010by using Factor Analysis method and SPSS software; then according to the analysis results above, the paper discusses the developing status of ecological agriculture of Henan province from the aspects of comprehensive benefits, economic benefits, social benefits and ecological benefits; besides, the paper also divides the development process of Henan province from2000-2010into3development stages; Finally, the paper brings forward some suggestions corresponding to the problems faced by Henan province in order to provide some reference for ecological agriculture construction of Henan province.
