Evelopment Research On Northern Anhui's Urbanization And Agricultural Modernization

Urbanization as well as modernization of agriculture plays an important role in economic and social development. This paper takes the urbanization and modernization of agriculture in Northern Anhui (mainly for six cities including Huaibei, Bozhou, Suzhou, Bengbu, Fuyang and Huainan), whose economic and social development is relatively backward. And the paper carries on research about synergetic development of urbanization and modernization of agriculture from the overall regional view of Northern Anhui.The paper first introduces the research background, research purpose, research significance, and research methods, and then summarizes the related theories and research status. In the third part of the paper the current situation of urbanization and the current situation of modernization of agriculture are respectively described and analyzed with the method combining quantitative study and qualitative study. The fourth part is to study on synergetic development of urbanization and modernization of agriculture of Northern Anhui. In this part the theoretical interaction relationship between urbanization and modernization of agriculture is firstly analyzed, and then the realistic need of synergetic development of urbanization and modernization of agriculture of Northern Anhui is analyzed based on the theoretical relationship between them and the respective current situation of urbanization and modernization of agriculture. Because of the necessity of synergetic development of urbanization and modernization of agriculture, the paper studies on the past situation of synergetic development of urbanization and modernization of agriculture of Northern Anhui by empirical analysis and some measurement models. The fifth part of the paper puts forward the corresponding countermeasures based on the backward status and not enough synergetic condition of urbanization and modernization of agriculture of Northern Anhui.The main conclusions are as follows. The development level of urbanization and modernization of agriculture is low. The urbanization development is in accelerating development phase. and the modernization of agriculture is at the initial stage. The interaction relationship exits between urbanization and modernization of agriculture. But the urbanization development and the development of modernization of agriculture are not enough synergistic. Agricultural modernization promotes urbanization at some extent. But urbanization does not play an obvious role in the development of agricultural modernization. And therefore Northern Anhui needs to speed up urbanization development and agricultural modernization development. and needs to push forward agricultural modernization in the urbanization accelerating development, and to promote urbanization development in agricultural modernization.
