The Study On The Relations Between New-Style Urbanization And Agricultural Modernization In Anhui Province

Simultaneously promoting new-style urbanization and agricultural modernization which is a important decision made by the Party Central Committee at overall situation and long-term vision, is a major mission in "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" period. At present, issues of dual structure in urban and rural areas of Anhui are outstanding, new-style urbanization is the key to solve the dual structure. Problems concerning agriculture, countryside and farmers of Anhui also need to be resolved, agricultural modernization is the core to deal with three dimensional rural issues. Therefore, systematically researching the mechanism of interaction and coordinative development between new-style urbanization and agricultural modernization has important theoretical and practical significance.The paper guided by development economics and spirit of18th Party is based on absorbing and leaning the research results of relative studies. The paper firstly defines scientifically the concepts of new-style urbanization and agricultural modernization,then analyze systematically the mechanism of interaction and the relations of coordinative development in theory. Secondly, the paper establishes evaluation indicator systems and measures the level of development of new-style urbanization and agricultural modernization separately by using the AHP method and factor analysis. Thirdly, Applying modern methods of quantitative economics such as co-integration test method、 granger causality test method、VEC model, the paper measures whether there are relations between new-style urbanization and agricultural modernization, then estimates the degree of interaction. Next, through building coordinative development degree model, the paper measures coordinative development degree between new-style urbanization and agricultural modernization of Anhui in order to reveal the problems of the process. Finally, the paper puts forward some countermeasures that accelerating the coordinative development between new-style urbanization and agricultural modernization of Anhui, which can provide reference to government departments.The main conclusions are as follows. Compared with the nation and developed provinces, the development level of new-style urbanization and agricultural modernization in Anhiu is low. Through theoretical and empirical analysis, there is a certain interdependence between new-style urbanization and agricultural modernization. New-style urbanization has obvious effect on agricultural modernization, but the impact of agricultural modernization to new-style urbanization is minimal. From the level of coordinated development perspective, the degree of coordination between new-style urbanization and agricultural modernization of Anhui is getting better and better, from serious imbalance to intermediate coordination.
