The Research Of Economic Growth And Employment In Xinjiang

Since the reform and opening, Xinjiang economy has been maintainedhigh growth, but the employment problem is more outstanding, the rapideconomic growth and the slow employment growth has existed together. Thisarticle, based on the domestic and foreign scholars' research achievements,reveals the mechanism of interaction between Xinjiang economic growth,industrial development and employment, and use quantity analysis method,based on the point of view of the industrial development, to quantitativelyresearch the relationship of the Xinjiang economic growth and employment, inorder to promote Xinjiang employment growth to provide support.This paper will be divided into three parts to quantitative research: the firstpart use the describe statistics and the regression analysis method, toquantitatively research the overall economic growth's employment elasticityand its change characteristics and employment trends in Xinjiang region from1985to2010, and detailedly analyze of the economic growth's three industrialemployment effects in Xinjiang; The second part analyze the industry structureand employment structure relationship in Xinjiang region respectively from thethree industries' output value and employment structure, three industries'deviation of industrial structure and the three industries' employment elastic;The third part, using the econometrics ADF test, Johansen cointegration test,vector regression model and granger causality test method, quantitativelyresearch the relationship between economic growth, industrial developmentand employment in Xinjiang, to illustrate that the unharmony between industrystructure and employment structure is the chief reason to hinder the increaseof employment in Xinjiang from the empirical aspects, and combining with theactual status of Xinjiang, to put forward the corresponding countermeasures inorder to promote employment growth in Xinjiang.
