Sustainable Forestry Development Mechanism

Forest is a special kind of resource on our planet as well as the unique asset in ourhuman society and economy. Forest plays an important role in safeguarding ecologicalsecurity and reducing greenhouse effect as well as a significant part in regionaleconomic development as the demand for forestry products is increasing sharply inrecent years. Forestry has been put much emphasis on in Chongqing in recent years. Amagnificent project——Forestry Chongqing, was proposed by Chongqing municipalgovernment in2008. The project aims constructing a prosperous Forestry Chongqingwhich the forestry industry is well-developed, the ecological system is stable, theecological culture is flourished and the living environment is excellent. So in this sense,it is significant to study on this object.A number of problems which may impact the sustainable development of ForestryChongqing came forth in the process of constructing Forestry Chongqing. It was amanifestation of the developing mechanism.Based on listing the academic achievements home and abroad systematically, thestate of Chongqing forestry development was systematically analyzed and the problemswhich have been affecting the sustainable development of Chongqing forestry weresummarized. The mechanism factor behind those problems were heavily analyzed anthe factors were overall evaluated. The revelation of forestry development experiencesfrom both home aboard were summarized. Finally, the sustainable forestrydevelopment mechanism were Put forward in this paper.Conclusions: Firstly, the development mechanism is not well-constructed yet thoughthe forestry industries of Chongqing have been dramatically progressed in recent years.The financial input mechanism and market innovation level are separately the key factorfor the sustainable development of ecological public welfare forest and communityforestry. Thirdly, the sustainable development of forestry could not go well without thecooperation of government and the market. Finally, supporting policies, Performancemanagement and supporting measures from the government and the platformed-services,the innovation in organization of market operation and the Scale Production of theindustry are the key factor which need put more efforts on in the well-development offorestry.
