This paper deeply studied Xinjiang telecommunication broadband business. Throughadopting the methods of integrating theory with practice, combining PEST theorywith SWOT analysis, this paper explained current status, competitiveness the and theproblems that they faced and put forward overall strategy in the next1-2years andmarket development tactics, network construction and technical policy to establishproduct differentiation competitive advantage for Xinjiang telecommunicationbroadband business.This paper has important realistic meaning for healthy and continuous develop ofXinjiang Telecom. Firstly, this research benefited to Xinjiang Telecom to sustain rapidgrowth and maintain stable market share. Secondly, this research is helpful toXinjiang telecom to promote broadband business development, and to drive themobile services and other value-added business development, which helps accelerateXinjiang Telecom to transform from a fixed network operator to comprehensiveinformation service provider.
