As a late-model mechanical and electrical product, spinning machine is based onnumerical control technology, involving mechanical manufacturing technology, automaticcontrol technology, sensor technology, servo drive technology, etc. On account of goodreliability, high cost performance, and simplified program design, programmablecontroller began to be widely used in numerical control industry. The control system ofspinning machine directly affects the product quality and machining precision, so tofurther research the control system of spinning machine and to improve the controlperformance of spinning machine are not only of key importance for the car wheelprocessing industry, but also significant to the development of numerical controltechnology.This paper mainly focuses on the spinning machine control system used in theprocessing of wheel hub, and designs the spinning machine control system, connectedthrough PROFIBUS-DP, with SIMATIC T-CPU (integration logic control and motioncontrol) as the control core, servo drive system (SINAMICS S120) and hydraulic systemas the driving device, and touch screen as the control interface.Main jobs go as follow:First of all, by studying the spinning machine control system according to therequirements of the wheel hub processing, I propose the overall design scheme of "TouchScreen + T-CPU + S120 + Hydraulic System" , clear principal axis, rotary axle and tailshaft as the top three control object, establish the overall design goals: advancedconfiguration, powerful functions, good reliability and easy control, and build theexperimental platform with SIMATIC T-CPU as the core, and set up the system operationenvironment.Secondly, we compile the system control program based on the Step7-Technologyoptions package, and design, by means of studying the characteristics of wheel hubexternal curve and applying Sept7 and Wincc Flexible, the spinning curve accessingmethod of the spinning machine and the mold protection method, etc.Third, through studying the control strategies of tail shaft, I put forward the controlmethod of two-stage speed control and force feedback closed loop PID control, establish the control system model, and analyze traditional direct pressure control system and forcefeedback loop PID control system through the model out of matlab/simulink.Finally, the HMI is designed by using Wincc Flexible. Through integrating PLC andtouch screen, the completely-integrated automatic control mode is realized: centralcommand, overall control, distributed execution.
