Metal spinning process is a kind of metal forming process. The process is mainly on the part of the cylinder blank for one or more extrusion and accumulation of deformation to the required hollow rotary parts processing method. Because of the spinning technology of metallic materials processing advantages such as no welding process, without removing material, uniform stress, thermal deformation small and so on. Metal spinning process has been widely recognized and the spinning machine has also been rapid developed recently.The sliding seat system of the spinning machine is the main mechanism for processing the material. The stability of the system and the accuracy of the control will directly affect the quality of the final product.The design and improvement of the sliding seat system was carried on in the article. The key of the slide system focuses on the following parts:(1) The modified design of driving mode was used in the sliding seat system.(2) The design of the key components of the stability such as the drive screw, slide guide, and so on was completed.(3) The finite element analysis of some parts of the sliding seat system was conducted.Considering the different series and types of spinning machine processing materials in the production process, this paper will be spinning machine as small batch production. Therefore in slide system overall structure design, its whole structure reasonable and beautiful, and purchased electrical components, hydraulic components and other components to match them with the correct, accurate and fast to complete the action.The product defect caused by the sliding seat system analysis was conducted in the paper, and the corresponding solutions and preventive measures were put forward in the end.
