This article takes the coal enterprise as the research background. Based on thefacilities layout characteristics and transportation organization principles and contentsof the coal project field, and take the effective tools such as queuing theory, grey systemtheory and Matlab mathematical software, the research about the facilities layout ofindustrial site, design and optimization of transportation organization is carried on.Finally, a series of industry facilities layout and transportation organization optimizationtheory and method which are effective in relevant examples are proposed by author.1.Based on the coal industry present situation and the development trend of coalenterprises as a starting point, this paper points out that it is very necessary to study onfacilities layout and transportation organization optimization for the large modernizationcoal enterprise.2.The paper studies on facilities layout of the coal enterprise from six aspects,which includes functional partition, channel width, gateway set, people and freight floworganization, parking facilities and site traffic safety. On one hand, this article usesmathematical method to optimize the selection of the field exits layout scheme. On theother hand, the industrial site in the parking facilities and traffic safety are put forward,which are also important part of facilities layout can not be ignored. It also improves thetheory and method of the coal industrial site facilities general layout.3. Transportation design of industrial site is the basis for optimization oftransportation organization. First of all, the paper describes the transportation line layoutand technical requirements of the narrow-gauge transport, road transport and belttransport in the industrial site. And proposes coal enterprises that based on coal occurrence characteristics, mining depth, can use different combined transport. Secondly,combined with the layout requirements of a variety of transportation routes in the levelcrossing and the approach in the vertical and elevation when crossing, discusses thedesign method of industrial sites within the various transport routes cross.4.This article takes the transport queues in industrial sites as the main object, andstudies the transportation organization optimization in industrial sites of the coalenterprises. Firstly, the paper determines two optimization goals of the transportationorganizations—the optimal number of the railway vehicle loading and unloadingmachines and the configuration of optimal transport vehicles; Secondly, the queuingtheory is applied to establish the optimal model, and select optimal evaluation programfrom different schemes of transportation optimization by using the grey system theory.In this process, with the help of Matlab mathematical software, the model is solved.Finally, take the practical engineering transportation in industrial sites for example, andverify that the science and rationality of optimization goals and methods.
