Wool fiber is a kind of natural textile material, and its products have a smoothfeeling, natural and soft luster, and keep its shape and other excellent properties, used tomanufacture high-grade male, female clothing. But it has the shrinkage deformationafter washing, affecting the comfort of clothing. So the improvement of wool fabricwith water and oil repellent properties, thereby reducing the fabric washing times,improving wool fabrics performance has very important significance.This paper prepared fluorine and silicon containing water and oil repellentfinishing agent in the laboratory, and in the process of preparation, study the highshearing time, reaction temperature, the choice of emulsifier and the dosage of initiatoron the emulsion gel rate, transformation rate of performance influence. The results showthat: under the optimized conditions, the laboratory preparation of fluorinated siliconefinishing agent has stable performance, under static24h at room temperature no layering,precipitation.This paper uses dip-rolling-drying fabric finishing process, using self-madesilicone finishing agent for wool fabric water and oil repellent finishing process,through comparative analysis, studied the bath ratio, pH value, curing time and curingtemperature on the fabric of the water repellent, oil, pollution, easy decontamination andfracture strength of influence. In obtaining good water and oil repellent effect and noinfluence on fabric basic performance at the same time, and obtaining the optimizationof the water and oil repellent finishing technology condition, namely: bath ratio1:30, pH4, baking temperature of120DEG C and the baking time120s. After the water and oilrepellent finishing of wool fabric, water repellent effect reached5, oil repellent effectreached4, antifouling and soil-release effect reached level5, after the30time washing,the specimen still has good water and oil repellent effect which can meet the need ofdaily life.This article through to the water and oil repellent finishing of wool fabric surface morphology and fiber structure was observed by scanning electron microscopy images,study found that: on the finished wool fiber surface was attached to a layer of film,namely silicon fluorine agent in wool fiber surface film; infrared spectral mappinganalysis, confirmed the fabric surface silicon fluorine agents, this is the importantreason of wool fabric obtain water and oil repellent effect; after the water and oilrepellent finishing, the degree of crystallization of fibers changes very little; theexperimental results of thermal analysis show that after the water and oil repellentfinishing, thermal stability, thermal transition properties of sample had no obviouschange.
