With the further development of chemical industry,the demand is more stringentfor the large-scale factory of Refining and Chemicals to process flange welding edgeon the pressure vessel.If we used the traditional CNC boring machines to processit,the case of flat welding edge can meet the requirement,but when processsaddle-shaped with good structure stress,ordinary CNC boring machines need tosolve it using the method that we install appendix (flat rotating disk) on the mainshaft, it not only has complicated structure,but also is hard to assure the processquality.The cylinder boring machine we studied(SDA-01boring machine) is aspecialized machine to process the flange welding edge on the pressure vessel,withthe feature of reliable process and cheaper than others.because of the first one,thereare some inevitable problems,so we have the structural analysis and optimization forthe cylinder boring machine,and this measures have important implication for thefurther branding.This topic analyses the main structural of cylinder boring machine and proposesthe related optimization programme. We disign brace to support electric machinery byanalyzing the transmit principle of primary motion, avoiding of the case that theoverweight electric machinery made ram upturned and effected the axial feedshappens.Lined the problems in the actual process,gave the new mechanism for radialfeeds.Stepper motor has been installed the new slide from the main axis rear, cutedtheradial feeds transmit axis with processing difficulties,and solved some problemssuch as lubricating is inconvenient and hard to install or debuge.By analyzing theaxial feeds,making the ram as the objective to lighten weight.At last,we analyse theelectrical system for the machine,introduce the interpolation system used by themachine.The paper based on the analyse result for the axial feeds,use the ANSYS toanalyses static property and dynamic property of the main axis and ram,and make theoptimization for ram consulting other rams’s structures.This topic solved some shortage in the first generation machine,made thecylinder boring machine(SDA-01boring machine) more stable and reliable,and make a good base,we have the reason to believe that the machine after optimization willhave a wider market.
