Roll-type coiler used for rolling long rolled piece into disk or round shape is an important equipment of working procedure in line of metallurgical industry. Well run and efficient winding process ensures continuous production of high quality steel. With the rapid development of China’s industrial and economy, product diversification, higher quality demand for steel products are proposed by market, research on performance of coiling technology by research institutions is in full swing. Actuator performance is the key to the effectiveness of the strip coiler.In this dissertation, we mainly focus on the research of The HYST 1# coiler on hot strip rolling, including mechanical, electrical, fluid workflow of wrapper roller. Simplify mathematical modeling at first, then select the appropriate parameters, using simulation methods to verify the conclusion. This study puts emphasis upon four parts.(1) Exploring advanced AJC technology used in the strip coiler, we found that the key technology is the regularity of the switching between two work control systems. The premise of ensuring the required position. To achieve the purpose of impact mitigation by layered strip, command signal by driving hydraulic cylinder driven roll jump.(2)For the study of position control link and the specific work process of the pressure control system and dynamic factors, the control system of the associated elements practical mathematical model is established, and using Matlab /simulink built the simulation platform. By contrast setting simulation parameters, to achieve the objective of the research system are changed. We get the influence of pipeline configuration to the rolling system.(3) Work system transition is smooth or not, directly determines the strip winding is good or bad. Large fluctuations of the coil system uneven surface, volume type pine flat. Process of intense shaking, may lead to damage to actuator. In view of the existing problems, this article explores system pressure mutation algorithm can reduce the switching process. The simulation verified the algorithm is effective to reduce the overshoot.(4) The arm of roll is the direct object impacted by the strip. In this paper, 1# arm were three-dimensional modeling. Analysis and fatigue check the finite element results of the arm work process. Arm structure fatigue defects under the working condition of the running, Resetting arm pivot point mounting location, ensure that the long-time running winder safety.
