Since agricultural products have been broadly internationalized, the cotton industry is also facing increasingly fierce competition. The cotton is widely used in national defense, industry, medical, people’s daily life and so on, and it is an important part of the national economy. As one of the world’s major cotton producing countries, China has a long history of cotton processing industry, but the processing technology still existes a big gap compared with the overseas advanced cotton processing technology. Nowadays cotton processing industry process cotton which has different moisture regain, the impurity rate of seed cotton with unified processing mode and lint cotton clean mode, or manually adjusts by the operator according to experience, belongs to the extensive processing industry.The former cotton processing technology not only reduces lint grade, resulting in a huge waste of resources and economic loss, but also brings about China’s cotton products at a disadvantage in the fierce international competition. Therefore, we must deepen the theoretical study of the cotton processing and automation, intelligent research and meticulous research, in order to improve the quality of lint cotton production. For this purpose, the subject in the study designs CNC lint cleaning machine based on the principle of lint processing, and primarily does the work at the following aspects:Firstly, analysising the cotton processing status at home and abroad, and cotton processing industry existing problems. A thorough and meticulous research is done in the processing of lint cotton clean theory, including the types of impurities and cotton fiber separation mechanism, the typical structure and working principle of the main models, design principles, the factors that affect efficiency of the impurities clean machine, provides structural parameters and theoretical basis for structure design.Secondly, completing CNC serrated lint cotton clean mechanism design, focused on the design of the lint cotton clean machine’s CNC row miscellaneous agencies, so that the serrated roller and grid bar gap, the number of grid bar adjustable in order to achieve the purpose of regulating the clean-up of lint fiber, the original equipment with fixed grid bar used in the production of the number of non-adjustment of institutions has been changed.Thirdly, designing lint cotton clean processing control system based on PLC control in order to achieve the control priority of the NC seperating structure:by data acquisition part of the cotton traits feedback to the host computer, the host computer control instructions issued under the control algorithm, driven lint cotton cleaning machine parameter adjustment. The hardware design has been completed, including the PLC selection, data acquisition system design, control system, electrical schematics and PLC wiring diagram, PLC touch screen design. The control flow diagram lists software design, and PC monitoring system design is initially finished.Fourthly, using Solidworks sets up three-dimensional model of the NC, NC institutions ADAMS-based technology to optimize the design and simulation, to verify the feasibility and correctness of the design agency.Through the above research work, the thesis finishes the final studying of the principle of lint cotton cleaning and design of NC lint cotton cleaning machine. The system not only achieves the basic lint cotton cleaning function, but also achieves a complete cotton clean operating parameters adjustments, as to improve the efficiency and automation of the clean-up of lint cotton cleaning machine automation and intelligence, thereby increasing the output of lint quality of cotton processing production line, with far-reaching significance to the development of China’s cotton processing industry.
