Digital engraving machine as a typical automated processing equipment, is widely used in2D and3D graphics or text processing field. With the rapid development of crafts, modelprocessing business, digital engraving machine market grow bigger and bigger. However digitalengraving machine in other non-professional processing field has still failed to get the promotion.In electronic hardware design department, digital engraving machine can be used as a good toolof PCB rapid proofing in hardware development and debugging phase.It can greatly shorten thedevelopment cycle, reduce development cost. But because of its complex operation processes,and need operator to have certain experience it failed to promote.This paper put forward a PCB special engraving machine control system design, used forhardware developers in debugging phase of the PCB board carving. This paper’s PCB digitalengraving machine system is a closed-loop control system, according to the acquired vibrationsignal, for engraving machine to adjust the operating parameters automatically. And according tothe PCB plate making process, it achieve the Z axis’ automatic zero setting,engraving depth andfeed rate automatically setting and other special functions, greatly simplifies the PCB engravingprocess operation, so that the engraving machine using is the more intelligent and convenient.Reduce the requirement on operators, in order to achieve high performance and high quality ofthe processing effect.In this paper the design of the machine based on ARM controller to realize the main part,such as the closed loop adjustment of feed rate and interaction functions. In feed rateautomatically adjusts the speed link to use" S" arithmetic, guarantees the system stability in thecontrol process.And complete the control circuit and the stepping motor subdivision drive andother hardware design.The PC program mainly to realize the G-code translation, path previewand and the communications to the ARM to achieve the engraving machine operation and otherfunctions of the development.In the final chapter of the paper,the research work in this paper is is summarized,and thefurther research work is prospected in this part.
