Converter at blowing, produces large amounts of carbon monoxide (CO) gasand iron containing compounds of flue gas, if discharged directly into the atmosphere,seriously affect the surrounding environment, therefore, the converter flue gasdischarged into the atmosphere must be completed before the dust, avoiding harm tothe environment;At blowing stages, flue gas contains about80%~90%CO, it is akind of high calorific value of fuel, if recovery, can save energy, reduce costs. Atpresent, the converter flue gas dry dust removal technology in the internationalcommunity has been recognized as the direction of future development, it can bepartially or completely compensation in converter steelmaking process energyconsumption, is expected to realize low or negative energy steel. In line with thenational industrial policy and the sustainable development of the steel industry, fromthe policy support, by production enterprises, has the extremely important practicalvalue and prospective.In this paper, a domestic Steel Corp150t converter real characteristics as theresearch background, in studying the large number of domestic and foreign literature,the full study of dry cleaning and recovery on the basis of the theory, combined withthe150t converter production field environment, based on WinCC/S7-400two levelcomputer system: PC using excellent configuration software WINCC, using WINCCwith the function of attribute establishment monitoring picture, parameter settingscreen, the alarm screen, historical trend screen, and set the printing and archivingfunction, monitor the whole process; the next-bit machine using Siemens S7-400series PLC (416-2DP) as the master station, process parameters acquisition,processing and control, including the evaporative cooler (EC), temperature control ofelectrostatic precipitator (EPS) control, coarse, fine ash conveying system control,gas cooler temperature control, gas discharge, recovery switching control and fanspeed control. From the collected data through the optical fiber Ethernet ring networkcommunication mode to the host computer and receives the superior machine control,realize dry system and the converter body system networking communication, settingfrequency converter, hydraulic station, high-voltage switch cabinet, remote I/O hostcomputer system from the station and the converter system in smelting andautomation system control phase coordination and restraint, so as to realize thecentralized management, decentralized control function.
