The Study On Coastal Ecosystem Health Assessment In Hebei Coastal Zone

Health and relative stability of coastal ecosystem are necessary to humansurvival and development. It is very important to maintain ecosystem health and itswell-circulation. In the thesis, the theory and methodology of coastal ecosystemhealth analysis are explored deeply. Hebei province is located in the bohai economiccircle.It is an important area and it is one of China’s important coastal provinces.Thestudy has significant practical significance important to Hebei coastal economicdevelopment.The main research contents and research results include:First, the coastal ecosystem health is a new research area. There is no explicitconcept and theory system consistent. The thesis summarize and discuss the conceptof the health of ecological system and the main method of evaluation weresummarized and discussed based on the ecosystem health, marine ecology, and landecology, etc.Second, according to the concepts of the assessment of ecosystem health andcharacteristics of coastal ecosystem, the paper divided into coastal environmentalquality, bio-ecological conditions and socio-economic status to construct a morethescience of coastal ecosystem health assessment index system. Establish a coastalecosystem health evaluation criteria.Third, the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method was fixed onto evaluate thecoastal ecological health, then the evaluation model was established through variousevaluation methods of analysis and comparison.The main innovation points in the thesis are:First，According to the complexity of the coastal compound ecosystem systemcharacteristics, a relatively integrated coastal ecosystem health assessment indexsystem included water environment quality, biological ecological characteristics andthe social and economic features are constructed for coastal ecosystem health inHebei province comprehensive assessment.Second,this thesis based on fuzzy comprehensive evaluation of the health of thecoastal ecological system comprehensive evaluation model, using entropy methodobjectively evaluated the index weight. In the process of the evaluation it introducedsubject degree to reasonable objectively described the coastal ecosystem health inHebei province. The research shows that, the coastal ecological system in Hebei province is in unhealthy status and the situation is not optimistic.Third,the research put forward that the causes of the unhealthy coastal ecosystemin Hebei province are the pollution of the environment, high strength of the landdevelopment, economic development, etc. Based on the results of the evaluation andexisting problems, this paper putted forward the preliminary coastal restoration andrenovation scheme of the ecological system in Hebei province.
