The mine exhaust air in the process of the coal-mine production can generate a very rich waste resources, and the temperature, and humidity of exhaust air flow are in a basic stable state all year. The exhaust air which is a high-quality and low temperature heat source is waste of being directly discharged to the atmosphere. Beijing Mine of Science and Technology Inc. combines the heat pump technology with air spraying technology, which can achieve recycling of the low temperature heat energy of mine exhaust air, cooling in summer, heating in winter, and instead of the traditional heating system that utilizes boiler combustion obtaining heat to meet the ground building heating, the pit shaft antifreeze and the shower hot water demand of staff bathroom. In order to study flow field characteristics in the heat and mass transfer process of the heat transfer unit of recovering the waste heat from mine exhaust air between exhaust air and water, this article utilizes three methods:the theoretical analysis, numerical calculation and field test. The computing method adopts Fluent software. The heat transfer process and the momentum transfer process of the fluid is numerically simulated, which can gain the pressure field distribution, the velocity field distribution, the temperature field distribution, the velocity vector distribution of the fluid and the trajectory lines distribution of the water droplets in the heat transfer unit of recovering the waste heat from mine exhaust air. The heat and mass transfer process and the process of momentum transfer in the heat transfer unit are influenced by the analysis and calculation of the inlet velocity of the heat transfer unit, the structure form of the diffuser-tower, etc.
