A Study Of How To Build China Carbon Trade System With Alternative Development Route

The most effective measure to the global Green House Gas (GHG) emission is to build carbon emission trade system, to take the advantages of carbon emission trade marketing mechanism. In order to undertake the GHG emission control commitments to the internationals, and to fulfill the obligations as a major country in this globe, China is mobilizing pilot projects to develop regional carbon emission trade system in7regions across China. How to build China Carbon Emission Trade System (CCETS) and which route will be taken, such kind of developments in the future will have no doubt to bring significant impacts to the future development of the regions, industries and enterprises.Based upon the carbon emission trade market theories and practices, the article is aiming to explain the theory of carbon emission trade and the related conceptions, to analyze the carbon emission trade system globally and in the developed countries.The current development status of CCETS will be evaluated as well. Most of all, the author uses the study methods, like document research, experiences summarizing, to discuss how to build CCETS and which route should be taken, through collecting and reviewing available materials, like document, thesis, books and study reports etc. Under the basis of reviewing the carbon emission trade system and the development histories, the author made special analysis on the current development status of CCETS, the future development trends as well as how to build the system. In the end, it is proposed how to build CCETS with alternative development route.
