Hydraulic system is drive part of vehicle-mounted roofbolter. Actions of roofbolter, such asstarting, commutation or braking, are very frequent. Probable faults in hydraulic system, such asshock, noise or parts malfunction, affect stability of the hydraulic system, at the same timedirectly affect the stability of whole machine. Therefore, it is very important to reseach dynamicperformance of hydraulic system for vehicle-mounted roofbolter.Based on the kinematics knowledge of mechanism of vehicle-mounted roofbolter, thearticle does stress analysis using ADAMS for hydraulic cylinders, determines the maximumforces of hydraulic cylinders from force curves, designs structures of the hydraulic cylinder,draws principle graphs of hydraulic system for roofbolter. In consideration of advantages ofmodeling with power bonds graphs, simplifying the structures of main components of hydraulicsystem is necessary, and then establishes power bonds graphs models conveniently. According tothe power bonds graphs, the first thing is to create subsystem model in Simulink workingwindow, and then constitute all the sub-modules to build simulation model of hydraulic systemfor hydraulic cylinders system and hydraulic motor system. Setting the simulation parameters,and simulating the models, people can observe and analyze changes of dynamic characteristicsof hydraulic system from the simulation curves, in order to verify the design of hydraulic systemis satisfactory. The paper also analyzes the other parameters change of hydraulic system, such ashydraulic cylinder load, elastic modulus of fluid, pipe diameter and length, how they can affectdynamic characteristics of hydraulic system. Finally, with the use of D-H method, the paperestablishes coordinate of bars of roofbolter under hydraulic control. Given parameters ofroadway cross-section, it shows how to control the elongation of hydraulic cylinders for drillingand supporting. The results show that hydraulic system of vehicle-mounted roofbolter on boringmachine designed in this paper meets design requirements of bolterminer, its mathematicalmodel is correct, it has an important guiding significance for hydraulic system optimization andwhole machine debugging.
