As the core of manufacturing, the capability and level of development ofmachinery manufacturing indicates the level of development of a country or region.And machinery manufacturing capacity will largely depend on the sophistication ofmachinery and equipment.Cylinder is the core parts of the automobile engine, as the difficult andprecision of processing cylinder crankshaft hole, it became big problem of theengine quality improvement.In the case of mass production, it is necessary todevelop a special crankshaft hole processing equipment, to improve the precisionand production efficiency, enhance the manufacturing level of engine parts.Based on cylinder crankshaft hole processing technology, to develop specialCNC boring machine tool. In-depth research in machine tool design andmanufacture of key technologies, and successfully development of a precision CNCcrankshaft hole boring machine.In design of precision CNC crankshaft hole boring machine, researched on thefollowing key technologies: machine tool general configuration, cylinder Processingtechnology, drive system of machine tool, Speed design, Jigs and fixtures design andaccuracy analysis, the system design of hierarchical micro-feed tools, lathe beddesign, power system design.Using three-dimensional modeling techniques, Virtual assembly and motionSimulation had done before machine tool was manufactured. Virtual assembly isable to find the relationship between design parts assembly is correct or not, andmotion simulation to test the machine with or without dynamic interference. Thethree-dimensional modeling techniques greatly increased the success rate of amachine design.The boring bar, boring sets and bearing which support the boring sets ofmachine tool as a system, to research satic and dynamic characteristics of boring barby using FEM analysis. The study obtained information of the boring bar systemstatic stiffness and natural frequency and mode shapes, Analyzed the influence ofbearing stiffness on the impact of the natural frequency of the boring bar system, anddraw some regularity conclusions.After the completion of the machine design and manufacture, Experiments show that machining accuracy and productivity of machine tool to meet the designrequirements.
