With the improving of the generated force, new product updates faster and faster, thecomplexity of the design process is bigger, design involves knowledge also more and morewidely, based on the intelligent design method has become a top priority. CAD/CAE systembased on knowledge is the knowledge engineering technology combined with computerassisted technology theory of the comprehensive technology, it makes the computer aidedextensibility of the system through computer rich human experts knowledge and experienceso as to achieve the intelligent design capabilities.Ultrasonic vibration honing device used for processing of different diameter cylinderliner inner surface, its design process is more complicated design all aspects of knowledge.CAD system based on knowledge can be of different types of power ultrasonic honing deviceparts parameterized design and the whole device, effectively shorten the repeat design ofworking time, at the same time, based on parameterized complete CAE analysis system forthe design of the power ultrasonic honing device provides the optimized design scheme.This paper emphatically studies the power ultrasonic honing device based on KBEtechnology of CAD/CAE system development process. First of all, based on knowledgeengineering is put forward approach to the study of power ultrasonic honing device——through the integration technology of product data management PDM and PKM, set up thepower ultrasonic honing device based on knowledge of the CAX and PDM/PKM integrationsystem framework, technology framework and based on the integration of key technologies inthis system are discussed, for the power ultrasonic honing device design task to provide the best solution; Secondly, in view of the power ultrasonic honing device integration system ofCAD platform, is proposed based on UG sketch model to realize parameterized modeling andassembly process of thought, and applied to power ultrasonic honing device parameterizedmodel. Details the development of ultrasonic honing device CAD system based on knowledgeof the modeling process, the use of UG were studied and the method of Visual C++forsecondary development, access to the realization of parametric design of power ultrasonichoning device complete implementation plan; Then, aiming at CAE platform in powerultrasonic honing device integration system implementation, the parameterized finite elementanalysis method, this paper expounds the set power ultrasonic honing device in UG processparameterized finite element analysis method, based on the obtained Φ47of the powerultrasonic vibration honing device on the modal analysis, concludes that the naturalfrequencies and natural modes; Finally, an instance is given, illustrate the power of ultrasonichoning device CAD/CAE integration system implementation process.
