As one of the representative applications of ultrasonic machining in the field of precision grinding,power ultrasonic honing technology has great advantages in the processing of inner surface of engine cylinder liner and so on.It is necessary to match the corresponding power ultrasonic honing device for the different sizes of cylinder liner.In order to avoid repeated design,it is need to set up a parametric model.Now the engineering drawing is still an important reference for production and processing,after the device is parametric the engineering drawing is necessary.Aim at the problem that the engineering drawing module of popular CAD software can't meet the requirements of localization and standardization,the drafting is tedious and inefficient,expanding the function of the engineering drawing can effectively improve the design efficiency.In this paper,the parametric model of the power ultrasonic honing device is set up,and the visual interface of the parameter setting is designed.Based on the NX platform,the engineering drawing module is expanded,and the assisted drawing system of the power ultrasonic honing device is designed.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)The structure and function of the power ultrasonic honing device are analyzed,and it is divided into four modules by using the module division technique.Based on the top-down modeling method,the parametric model of the device is established,and the relationship modeling between components is made by using the expression and UG/WAVE function.Strong correlation is existed between parts,and the model is stable.(2)The method of secondary development based on NX and Visual Studio platform and the PTS module are studied.By using the secondary development technology and thePTS module respectively,the interactive interface of parts and the whole device is designed.The model is quickly updated by modifying the parameters in the interface.When the parameters in interface are modified,then the model is quickly updated.(3)By using NX secondary development tools,the assisted drawing system of the power ultrasonic honing device is designed.This drawing system includes four subsystems,which are drawings setting and drawing standard loading,view generation,automatic marking and drawing generation.The subsystem of drawings setting and drawing standard loading is applied to customize the national standard engineering drawing template and the standard of drawing.The view generation subsystem implements the generation of basic views.The automatic marking subsystem is designed for size and roughness marking.The drawing generation subsystem realizes the insertion of technical requirements and the automatic filling of title block and item list contents.This system has good human-computer interaction and portability,and can generate engineering drawings of different sizes of power ultrasonic honing device quickly and accurately.
