The textile industry which is the main component of our country industry, not onlyaffects the country’s economic development, but also in relation to the quality of social life.Dyeing machine is one of important dyeing equipment in the textile industry. Of course, theautomation degree of dyeing machine plays a decisive role in the quality of textile product,and is directly related to the economic efficiency of enterprises and long-term development.At present the automation level of dyeing machine in our country still is lower compared todeveloped countries. The automation control technology which is not mature yet and muchless advanced, have yet to be improved. Therefore, the research of dyeing machineautomation has become the focus in the field of the textile industry in our country.In this paper, the research of distributed control system for overflow dyeing machine basedon MCGS monitoring configuration technology is put forward. The work is supported byQuancheng scholar construction project bidding project, whose name is development ofenvironment protection type low bath ratio overflow dyeing machine, organized by themunicipal party committee and the municipal government of the Jinan city. In order to improvethe level of automation of the dyeing machine and achieve many dyeing machines controlled,centralized monitoring and operation, the normal temperature and pressure overflow dyeingmachine is considered as the research object, and the PLC field control system and theconfiguration monitoring system are designed, and overflow dyeing machines distributedcontrol system is established.Through analysis the principle of work and the dyeing process of overflow dyeingmachine, we summarize the distributing control system needed for functional andperformance requirements. The next the overall program that is distributed control system foroverflow dyeing machine based on MCGS monitoring configuration technology is proposed.This thesis introduces that the designed program of PLC control system about overflowdyeing machine. The system hardware structure and the main loop electrical control of thedyeing machine are designed from the designed program. The temperature signal acquisitionand processing were achieved through the application of the PLC and the temperature sensor.The motor control also is achieved through the application of PLC and Inverter. Through MCGS configuration software the configuration monitoring system of theoverflow dyeing machine is completed. In software configuration environment, theframework structure of the project is created, the real-time database is constructed,man-machine interface is designed, and the operation strategy, the device window and themaster window are designed. In software operating environment, the project running anddebugging are completed through analog data.Through the development of the MCGS functional component the dyeing processmanagement system is established gradually. This system introduces the needs analysis ofnew functional component, and proposes the new features and interface specifications ofcomponent implementation, and utilizes the development wizard to generate the frameworkof functional components, and describes the process of database completion, and complete ofthe functional component testing and mount new components to achieve the requiredfunctionality.Based on RS-485bus distributed control system communication and commissioning hasachieved. We complete distributed control system software and hardware connections; Systemfrom the process action of the four parts is carried on commissioning, including dyeingmachine process action, between upper machine and the lower position machinecommunication, temperature detection and inverter controlling motor. Currently,throughsystem commissioning, various design requirement was satisfied.Through system designing and commissioning, we gradually establish a distributedcontrol system for overflow dyeing machine based on MCGS monitoring configuration. Thesystem has greatly increased the level of automation about the dyeing machine, and has agood prospect of application in the textile enterprises.
