Gangliosides(GLS) constitutes a group of glycosphingolipids that are components of most vertebrate cell membranes, and plays an important role in nervous system. Monosialotetranexosyl gangliosides (GM1) is studied and used the most intensively so far. Because of the well tolerance, GM1was extensively applied in clinical application, with an emphasis on Hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy, Nervous centralis lesion, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, Huntington’s disease, and Peripheral neuropathy.In this thesis, we improved and optimized the separation and purification process of gangliosides. The results of the verification experiments revealed that both the quantity and the quality of gangliosides were excellent.
