A Landscape Design On Urban Road In Loess Hill And Gully Region Of Northern Shaanxi

Because of the special geography, climate and culture characteristics in Loess Hilland Gully Region of Northern Shaanxi, urban road landscape designing process has tocater for its own developing condition and local features. And also there are someproblems. The following research are conducted through road research in Loess Hill andGully Region of Northern Shaanxi and associated study of papers and other information,together with analysis of the actual engineering project case.First by studying the relationship between the city spatial layout and the landscape,we can summarize the characteristics of the cities and the urban roads in loess hilly andgully region of Northern Shaanxi.Again by making the field research (which regards the special road landscapeelements as the starting point) in several cities in loess hilly and gully region ofNorthern Shaanxi, we can summarize the advantages and disadvantages of the urbanroad landscape design and put forward some principles and methods of the urban roadlandscape design.Finally the Yongping Road of Zichang County is analyzed and summarized,proposed the above road landscape design theory and method of some of the argumentand instructions.The research deems that the main issue in urban road landscape design is thegeography climate and culture feature of the certain area. Only these features arecoordinated as a whole, can we do it in a right way.
