Application Study On Project Schedule Management Base On BIM

The project schedule management is one key content of project management,which directly relate to the project social benefits and economic benefits.The use ofNetwork planning technology and the project management software, increases theproject schedule management efficiency. However, relying on traditional techniquesand tools, a lot of problems in the project schedule management can not be resolved.With BIM technology developing more and more maturely, BIM technology can beused in each stage of the construction project life cycle, ensure the creating, transferringand sharing of project information, change mode of production and way of organizing,and greatly improve the level of project management. Thus BIM technology should beimmediately introduced into the project schedule management. Now BIM technology isgradually used into each phase of construction project, but it is still in primary stage.The study and application of BIM in the construction phase is even not mature. Theresearch about project schedule management based on BIM technology is very few andthe research area is limited. BIM technology is limitedly used in few projects, whichcan’t play to the full benefits. Therefore, it is necessary to explore the systematicapplication of BIM in project schedule management from a new angle.This paper is done through extensive literature research, investigation research andcase studies. After analyzing former theories and methods, BIM technology has beenintroduced to solve the existing problems, and bring the new idea about schedulemanagement. Firstly, this paper analyzes BIM technology and related software, anddiscusses the core technology by which schedule management on BIM can bereached.The establishment of four-dimensional building information model is especiallyresearched. Secondly, the application framework and flow of project schedulemanagement based on BIM are established, and working process is deeply described.Finally, through a lot more case analysis, this paper summarizes the function advantageof BIM technology in schedule management, finds application problems, and putsforward the pointed development suggestions. This article provides the idea, system,work flow and process, analyzes the function advantages, summarizes the existingproblems, and puts forward suggestions for the project schedule management based onBIM technology, which has certain theory value and practical significance, and can bethe reference to specific application and subsequent studies.
