Analysis On Comprehensive Development Model And Demand Prediction Of Underground Space Surrounding Underground Station In Chongqing

After the Tokyo Urban Underground International Conference in1991, the TokyoDeclaration was published. It says the main construction is bridge in19th Century andis huge building in20th Century, and also it will be a century about utilization ofunderground space in21th Century. Nowadays, it comes true. A lot of urbanunderground space has been explored, especially the urban rail underground space.This article is based on the project of Comprehensive Development about RailUnderground Space in Chongqing. With the rail planning, Chongqing’ actual situationand questions happened in the process of rail construction, the study of comprehensivedevelopment model and forecast about underground space surrounding undergroundrail station is done and the main conclusions are as followed:①The utilization of urban underground space is great emphasized in modern cityplanning theory. It will get lots of benefits to utilize urban underground space, forexample, environment benefit, economic benefit. It comes some opportunities andproblems on the road of city development. After thinking all these, with the railconstruction, underground space surrounding underground rail station should also bedeveloped.②The characteristics of underground space should be studied first. With thecharacteristics of underground and theories about modern city planning, this articlethinks the process of function demand-establishment of spatial cognition-formation ofspace activities should be followed when underground space surrounding undergroundrail station is developed. It also gives in detail about the four aspects-overall layout ofthe development of underground space surrounding underground rail station, functionset in its space, space utilization form and traffic organization, space nodes design.With all these, the development model of underground space surrounding undergroundrail station is formed.③Take the Rail3th in Chongqing for example, after analyzing the variation ofpassenger flow volume, the location of all stations and the different importance ofdifferent stations in overall rail network, it gets the names of stations whichunderground space surrounding underground rail station should be developed. And also,this article gives the types of traffic and commercial functions and operation modes.④After analyzing the methods about forecasting underground developmentscale, this article gives the defects of different methods. Also, it gives a new method which could fit the forecast of underground space development surroundingunderground rail station well. With it, this article gives the predictive developmentscale of Nanping Station in Rail3th.
