The construction industry has become the pillar industry of China's national economic development.at present,China's annual new construction area is 2 billion m2,and China is the world's largest number of new construction each year.Meanwhile,a considerable number of houses are not in accordance with the requirements of the national building energy efficiency design or did not take effective energy saving measures,it can not meet the national requirements of energy saving level,this has deviated from the national strategy of sustainable development.In this paper,a new type of shale sintered block has good heat preservation and energy saving effect,shale and coal gangue as the main raw materials,it made by extrusion molding,high temperature calcination of the new energy-saving wall material,has double effects of saving land resources and reduce energy consumption and useing waste.Experimental study on the mechanical properties of the new shale sintered block and its masonry,it is conformed to the direction of energy saving,environmental protection and useing waste.This paper mainly aims at the experimental study of the compressive strength,shear strength,shear-compression composite shear strength on the new type of shale fired brick block masonry,to provide reliable mechanical parameters for the study of the seismic performance of the whole structure and the formulation of relevant codes and regulations.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)First of all,according to the new shale sintered block and mortar,in accordance with the test method and standard of brick masonry mortar with basic performance test methods and design method of mortar compressive,conducting compressive strength test.The failure phenomena and strength dispersion are analyzed,and the compressive strength of the sintered block and masonry mortar was determined(2)Experimental study on compressive properties of the new type of shale fired brick block masonry,through observation and analysis of the phenomenon obtained the destruction form of the new type of shale fired brick block masonry,according to the compression failure mechanism to master the main features of compression failure of the new type of shale fired brick masonry;According to the measured data of the compression test,deriving the proposed formula of the average value of compressive strength of the new type of shale fired brick block masonry,and obtained the recommended compressive strength standard value and design value of the new type of shale fired brick block masonry;based on the measured data of the new type of shale fired brick block masonry test I study the relationship of stress and strain,the stress-strain relationship expression of the shale fired heat-insulation block masonry is put forward.The elastic modulus and the proposed value for the poisson's ratio of this masonry are given.(3)Experimental study on shear strength of the new type of shale fired brick block masonry,through observation and analysis of the phenomenon obtained the main characteristics and destruction form of the new type of shale fired brick block masonry,master the main features of shear failure of the new type of shale fired brick masonry;Based on the analysis of the experimental results,the calculation formula of the average value of shear strength for the new type of shale fired brick block masonry is put forward.The standard value and the design value of shear strength for this masonry are given.(4)Experimental study on shear-compression composite of the new type of shale fired brick block masonry,through observation and analysis of the phenomenon obtained the main characteristics and destruction form of the new type of shale fired brick block masonry,master the main features characteristics of shear-compression composite failure of the new type of shale fired brick masonry.The calculation formula of the average value of shear-compression composite strength for the new type of shale fired brick block masonry are put forward.
