Developing aero-engine configuration modeling software which allows steady-state and transientsimulation using a user-friendly drag and drop interface, is the latest trend in aero-engine modeling. Inthis paper, improved methods of configuration modeling and model correcting methods have beenproposed to overcome the insufficiency of the original software and to improve the accuracy of themodel.For overcoming the limitation of aero-engine configuration modeling software that theaero-engine model developed by users can not be output, general aero-engine DLL model’s framematching the present software is designed. The modeling information received by the software fromusers is output as a configuration file. The general aero-engine DLL model and the configuration fileare loaded for simulating an aero-engine. Results of the DLL model are the same as the configurationmodel’s. By this way, aero-engine model developed in the software can be used for aero-enginecontrol system semi-physical test.The accuracy of aero-engine model has always been the emphasis which is difficulty in themodeling area. Based on the summary of the model revising experience and practice, manual modelcorrecting method and double-layer Newton-Raphson model correcting method have been proposedin this paper. The accuracy of the revised model has been improved.There is a lot of insufficiency of the original aero-engine configuration modeling software, suchas stability and interface function. To solve hidden trouble of the software safety, three-level errorcheck mechanism is proposed and effectively improves the stability of the software. Main interface ofthe software is split into several parts, such as model configuring aera, operation log aera, mapgraphing aera, results outputing aera and etc.The software function is general and user interface ismore concise.
