Application Study On ESPC Concept In The Residential Area Planning

With the development of Chinese economic and social reform, residential area planning getsmore and more attention. However in most practicing process, there are a lot of issues in theresidential area planning. This article makes analysis of the constituting form of ESPC concept and itsapplication in the residential area planning,focuses on how to create high-quality residential areas andhow to let the ESPC concept merge with modern residential landscape design. Real examples make adetailed introduction of the application of ESPC concept in practice and make people fully aware ofthe controlling the ecosystem in the residential area planning, which is to make rational use of land,combining various disciplines about human and environment, such as Ecology, Landscape,Architecture, Geography, Biology, Psychology, Behavioral, to achieve the most optimal use oflandscape, to offer the planning of residential areas theoretical and practical guidance and to solve theproblems of the current residential area planning. Integrated with the case study on international cityof Nanjing Cui Ping district planning, this article carries out the combination of theory and practicethrough actual researches, makes researches on how to better combine the use of the residential areasand environmental systems function in the residential area of planning. Finally the article discussesthe ways and means to effectively plan for residential areas under the current situation in China,providing some reference information about further improvement of future residential area planning.
