Medium-sized road sweeper is a special construction vehicle used for modern cityroad clearing. Now most sweepers produced in China were refitted by installingoperating device on type two chassis, which has a large shape, long turning radius andpoor maneuverability, can not meet the operation requirements under narrow roadcondition. A kind of sweeper with full hydraulic drive and steerable single-enginedeveloped for urban area and small place has broad growth space.This thesis gives systematical introductions to the general design and hydraulicsystem of the sweeper, and makes detailed analysis to the steady working condition ofeach operating device according to the medium sweeper’s technical requirements. Andthen, match parameters for the running system based on kinematics, dynamics andpulling characteristic analysis; select and check the key components for engine, pumpand motor, etc. As volumetric efficiency affects the speed output and stability of therunning system, mechanical efficiency affects the starting capability with load andfinally affects the working quality, this article also researches the volumetric efficiencyand mechanical efficiency of hydraulic components. At last, in order to further study therunning system response speed, it built the system mathematic model, researched theeffects to the response speed inside the system parameter and proved through Matlabemulation. Also it obtained the regularity that outside parameter affects the dynamiccharacteristic of the sweeper. Finally, proposed concrete method to increase the systemrespond speed by combined with practical application.With the economic development in our country and as the special property of urbanrefuse, medium and small sized sweeper with full hydraulic will increase rapidly, thissubject study has more actual significance.
